Fine Art Summer Showcase
June 5 & 6, 2010. Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
St. George Cultural Center
364 First St. SE, Massillon, OH 44646
This past year’s Greek Festival sparked a great deal of interest in bringing artisans into our Cultural Center, so we have decided to have our first Fine Art Showcase to kick off the summer in Massillon! This event will be hosted by the St. George Ladies Philoptochos Society. We will be having our very popular gyro for lunch and dinner throughout the event. We look forward to a wide variety of high-quality, handcrafted artwork of all media, and are also open to performance artists.
If you would like to be a participant at this showcase, please submit a sample of your work that is reflective of what you will have for sale. The Church Board will review submissions and you will be notified of their approval. This is a church-sponsored event so we ask that all artwork and performances be family friendly. Submit photos of work samples to verginisart@yahoo.com or send them to the church address above to the attention of Angelina Verginis. The church's phone number is 330-832-3622.
The entrance fee is $100 for space inside the Cultural Center, payable prior to the event start date. A standard vendor booth includes one 8' table and two chairs in a 10' x 10' area. Electricity is available upon request. Additional tables are available for $10 each per day. Vendors are encouraged to use their own display stands, etc., in their areas.
